OBJECTION: I’M NOT INTERESTED

EXAMPLE RESPONSE:
1. I am sure you get a lot of people calling and wasting your time. I know I do. My goal is to very quickly show you a way we can save you time and money. Our company was recently recognized by XYZ Associates as offering the best value and service (6 out of the past 7 years), I would like to share our story, and all I need is 15 minutes. Is the morning or evening better for you as a time to meet?

OBJECTION: JUST SIGNED WITH SOMEONE ELSE

EXAMPLE RESPONSE:

1. That’s great! You know it doesn’t hurt to see what’s out there either. We’d at least like to be your secondary vendor. How about getting together Thursday or Friday afternoon?

OBJECTION: NO TIME, TOO BUSY

EXAMPLE RESPONSE:

1. I understand that in today’s world time is money. I would like to save you both. All I need is 10 minutes. Can we meet for coffee on Friday morning or is the afternoon better?

OBJECTION: WE ALREADY USE YOU

EXAMPLE RESPONSE:

1. Great. We should get together because I am your new local contact. I want to make sure you are taking advantage of all of our new features as you continue to use us moving forward. Is there anyone else who should be at our meeting? I’ll be in your area next Thursday and Friday. Which day works best for you?

OBJECTION: WE DO OUR OWN IN-HOUSE

EXAMPLE RESPONSE:

1. Wonderful, then you must know all the costs associated with do your own, and how expensive that can be. I will definitely put some facts side by side so we can visualize the savings. Should we meet Friday or Monday?

OBJECTION: JUST SEND ME SOME INFORMATION

EXAMPLE RESPONSE:

1. I’d love to send you some information but it’s important that I understand your current situation. In fact, I’m going to be in (decision maker’s location) tomorrow. I'd be happy to drop by to discuss your needs and meet you in person. What time tomorrow afternoon is good?
